The Village of Cornucopia
Cornucopia is a unique fishing village on the South Shore of Lake Superior. It is a place where our guests will be entertained by Nature at it's finest. Our cottages border the Siskiwit River where it meets Lake Superior and are within walking distance of the general store, local restaurants, coffee shop, and gift shops. Cornucopia is the western gateway to the Apostle Islands and nearby is the federally designated Lake Superior National Seashore.
In the summer, Cornucopia offers visitors a 2 mile long sand beach, public swimming beach, sailing and boating, a marina, fishing, hunting, bird and wildlife observation, gift shops, scenic land and seascapes, and gorgeous sunsets overlooking Lake Superior. Sailboats and power boats are available for fishing and Apostle Island scenic cruises.
Our area's winter activities include cross country skiing, snow shoeing, groomed snow mobile trails, hunting, and fishing.
